Sherri specializes in equestrian artwork. She has over 25 years experience as a professional painter.
Her passion for horses started at a young age.
“ I moved to Wellington for the equestrian lifestyle. For fifteen years, I owned and operated a farm close to the Winter Equestrian Festival. During that time, I would sit by the barn and sketch the horses and ponies. That eventually led a career as a painter.”
“It’s so much more than painting what I see. It’s really about capturing the soul of the horse, their distinct personality and true essence. I believe that is my gift. I would categorize my art as having a whimsical touch. I love to use a lot of fun colors, and cute expressions. I want my paintings to make you smile. I especially love painting donkeys.”
Many of her paintings have been showcased locally in Florida, and also in New York. Her work is also shown annually at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington,FL.
